Come Stay on the River! New Listing with Bluebird Day!

Bluebird Day has a new riverfront property! Come and enjoy River West, located downtown in the heart of Bend. The location will make it possible to park your car and walk everywhere. This historic mill house was built in 1918 for the excutive management team during the mill days. With still some it original characteristics, we do hope you enjoy the vintage charm of this older home. This home is located right on the river and steps from Miller’s Landing Park. The footbridge that is close by will take you over the river into Columbia Park with a playground for kids. You can put your paddle board or kayak right in the water from here. If you decide not to bring your own, a paddle board and kayak is available.

This charming bungalow has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen for those delightful home cooked meals. The private master suite is located upstairs with a king bed, gas fireplace, and its own bathroom. The other two bedrooms are on the main level with queen beds. One bedroom has it’s own private bathroom. A cozy living room features a gas fireplace, HDTV, books for those evenings indoors. The private and relaxing backyard with river access, Salt system hot tub, gas grill, fire pit and numerous seating areas is surrounded by nature. This makes a perfect setting while staying right in town.

You are just 30 minutes away from Mt Bachelor Ski resort and the Central Oregon Cascades. Hiking trails, mountain bike trails, yummy food, floating the river, summer concerts, shopping, and Bend’s vibe makes a great place for your vacation.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Bluebird was very responsive and prompt with communications. The location is spectacular. It is so quiet on the river and yet you are in the heart of Bend at the same time. We biked everywhere and enjoyed kayaking on the river. The location and accommodations were wonderful. We would definitely stay again.

This house is epic. Location couldnt really be better. Right on the river trail, walking distance to downtown, old mill, Jacksons corner, etc. We were slightly concerned with how close the neighbors were when we arrived and saw it, but the owner did a great job of making it feel very private. The hot tub/backyard actually has good privacy. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock and watching ducks and people go by in the water. The upstairs master was nice to have and having 3 bathrooms was really nice and made bathing super efficient for my family of 4. The 2 gas fireplaces were very easy to operate and warmed us up nicely. Its worth noting that the master can get toasty in the night as the heat rises in the house. We made lots of use out of the games. The kitchen was very well stocked. Just a really great place all around. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay! The area was walkable and the riverfront views and hot tub were so relaxing after a long day on the mountain! We slept 5 comfortably. Kitchen was well stocked for all meals at home. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our short ski trip to Mt. Bachelor/Bend. The conditions on the mountain were great, we loved the town and the location and amenities of the house were fantastic!

Super nice location to stay for our ski trip to Bachelor! We stayed during a a crazy weather event of zero degree temps and 2 feet of snow in town and it was perfect to watch ice float down the river from the warmth of the hot tub in the backyard. The host even came by and shoveled snow for us around the property. Great stay, thanks!

We loved our stay at this rental. The location on the river was beautiful. The accommodations are very comfortable with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is ideal for a group of adults or a large family. The upstairs bedroom is great for a quieter spot, and the downstairs rooms are next to the living room and kitchen, so less quiet but very comfortable. The walk to downtown or the Mill District are quick and pretty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

We were blown away by our experience in Bluebird Days beautiful property. Highlights: - Best equipped AirBnB we have EVER stayed ineverything from an immersion blender to plenty of towels for the hot tubwe felt like we were at home. - The property is so beautiful with the peaceful river out back and beautiful willow trees, it was a truly calming space. - SO convenient! You can easily walk everywhere in Bend! The Deschutes River walk is RIGHT next to the property for running, biking, or walking to the Old Mill District. The other direction is a quick walk to coffee, the river park, or Old Bend. - The space itself is just perfect; there is plenty of space but it still feels like home. Cozy fireplaces are made for magical evenings, playing games provided in the property. We loved the firepit and hot tub for relaxing and spending time with loved ones. We cannot wait to come back and experience this property in the summer months when the river comes to life with recreation!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was great that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The location is perfect for those who enjoy strolling through the parks and neighborhoods of Bend to get to the Old Mill and Downtown. The kitchen was well-equipped, the hot tub was fabulous, and we loved sitting on the dock watching the paddleboarders go by. It felt like an actual family vacation home, vs a poorly equipped STR.
