This 1940’s home is such a great part of the historic Bend. The location is perfect, park your car and walk everywhere downtown. Full of its original character and charm this home has been loved inside and out.
The main floor includes the primary bedroom, bathroom, living room, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, and dedicated work space. The second bedroom is located upstairs, with a bathroom, and reading nook. The sofa on the main level has an upgraded queen comfy mattress for those extra guests. There is off-street parking for three cars and fully fenced back yard to relax and escape with your pup after a great day of exploring. The staircase is steeper than most and not recommended for small children or elderly adults.
McMenamins is right across the street, includes bakery, restaurant, soaking tub, theater, and famous Broom Closet hidden bar. Our Crater Retreat and Lava Hideaway are just up the street from here, so if you are ever in town with friends they could come and stay right close by.
Mt Bachelor Ski Resort and the Cascade Lakes are just a short drive away and are the perfect places to explore in any season. Biking trails in the warmer seasons and skiing or snowboarding option in the winter.

Such a great spot to stay in downtown bend! We loved being able to walk around and the backyard was a perfect spot to hangout! The communication was incredible and their recommendations for food and things to do in the area were great!

This was the perfect place for our visit to Bend! Our family of one adult and two teens was comfortable, cozy, and within easy walking distance of everything downtown. We were especially grateful that the homes A/C was able to keep up with an unprecedented heat wave while we were there. Though we didnt really cook during our stay, the kitchen is well equipped with all the basics -- and the stocked laundry room came in extra handy. We didnt have a pet with us, but noticed some thoughtful touches for guests who do. We enjoyed our time and recommend!

This is the perfect house located in the heart of Bend. The house had everything we needed to keep our group comfortable, including our dog. This is a well renovated older home with lots of character. Clean, with plenty of kitchen accessories, and bathroom linens. We would stay here again, and highly recommend.

Could not choose a more perfect location near downtown Bend. The house had a lot of charm and character. The yard was beautiful and peaceful. The area is very walkable, yet it got very quiet by 10pm or so.

Our charming Cinder Cone Bungalow is a Bend home that shares a space with the Elm Seed Bug, a harmless little bug similar to a fruit fly that sneaks into every crack and crevice in homes. You may see them here in the home, mostly hanging out on the windows. We employ sticky traps and professional pest control, but they do make their way in. Harmless, but a nuisance.
