This adorable cottage was originally built in the 1920’s during Bend’s mill town heyday. This is a great spot for those who want to vacation in a cozy and sunny home close to popular restaurants, music, coffee bars and eclectic shops. Desert Moon is tucked off the street with a nice front porch and full fenced yard.
Relax in the living room on comfortable seating while watching your favorite shows or movies on the 65” 4K TV. Cook a homemade meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The dining room table seats 4 comfortably and also doubles as a laptop friendly workspace.
The first bedroom is right off the kitchen. It features a queen size bed and lots of storage for your belongings. The second bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and fir flooring has a double bed and a dresser. The bathroom features a white porcelain tub and shower head. The stackable washer and dryer are also located in the bathroom. There is space out back to store your outdoor gear.
Take a ride on the provided bikes to popular destinations such as Newport Avenue, Galveston Street, Historic Downtown and the Old Mill District. Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort is a short 25 minute drive away.

Very nice place to stay in Bend. Quiet neighborhood, cozy and comfortable house, well stocked kitchen, and good location, including a great grocery store very nearby. Clear and helpful communications from the host. Fit three adults very nicely. Highly recommended.

Spent a few days here drinking coffee, reading books, and soaking in all Bend has to offer. The location is right in the heart of all of our favorite places, a big plus was being able to walk to dinner or the little market around the corner. Would highly recommend a stay here!

I was very impressed with how clean the property was. The amenities were also great: the water pressure was fantastic, the sheets and towels seemed newer and were very soft, the kitchen was stocked with essentials, and the TV was easy to figure out. The house was very charming and had great character! The location was also great for us, as we were able to walk to our favorite places to eat in Bend. I will definitely try to stay in this same house again for future trips!

Place was just what we were looking for. Walkable to downtown, close to Newport Market and Nancy Ps cafe. And super easy to get to hiking and friends houses in bend. Might be a repeat Airbnb if we come back to bend. Cute little backyard too

We had a great stay at this bnb! The location is pretty perfect-- super close to Newport Market, where we stocked up on breakfast foods (like Sparrow Bakerys banana bread, yum!), and Nancy Ps, a local fave bakery/coffee shop. Youre about a mile from downtown as well, which is perfect. Parking was super easy and the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet for how central it is. We had a comfortable stay here-- the bed was comfy and with the windows open, it was fairly comfortable at night, though there is an a/c unit in the living room and fans in the shed if needed. We had a small issue with the temperature and the owner, who lives down the road, came by within 10 minutes to take a look! Awesome. We appreciated how easy it was to check-in and out. Wed stay here again!

This was one of the best Airbnbs that Ive stayed at! From the cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, thoughtful decor, down to the small finishing touches, Bluebird created a magical experience for anyone visiting the bungalow. And the water pressure in the shower was amazing!

This cozy little house provided our small family (parents and a 5 year old) the perfect home base for our Bend and Mt. Bachelor adventures. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable 4-night stay, and was within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the always-fun-to-shop Newport Market, and the Old Mill District. Wed rent this home again in a heartbeat.

A wonderful stay at a super well-appointed home! Close to the river and to downtown, as well a ton of breweries and eateries. This home was super clean and all the necessary amenities for 4 adults. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Bend!

We really enjoyed out stay. The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials. The wifi supported remote work and multiple devices. It worked perfectly for our family of four. The central location was great for walking to the market and shops. We will definitely come back again.

This home was absolutely fabulous! I would buy if I could. Location is perfect. A block from the best grocery store in town, all kinds of healthy eateries and coffee options. This house had everything I love in the kitchen. The beds were super cozy. We slumped in the living room area and watched movies together at night. Loved having bikes and a grill and sipping my coffee on the porch swing while watching the birds land in the low hanging pine tree. You will love this place! You will love Bend!

My partner and I had a lovely stay here! Desert Moon was super cozy and a great winter getaway. I loved the vintage feel and all the natural light. Location was perfectly close to everything that there was to do, and just a minutes walk from a great natural food store, bakery, and breakfast spot. We were provided with great communication and easy instructions for check in and check out. I highly recommend.

Looks exactly as pictured. So cute, quiet and in walkable neighborhood. Great grocery store less than a block away. House was stocked with everything youd need. Washer and dryer was super handy too. Will stay the next time Im in Bend!

This was a beautiful decorated little cabin with every amenity we needed. The space was well laid out and designed. We stayed with our 2 young children and it was plenty of space. We made meals and walked to the many restaurants near by. The beds and couch were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.
