Bluebird Day - Riverside Cottage

This house was the perfect home base for our stay in Bend. We rode our bike from the house the Phils trailhead and on the way back from riding stopped by the amazing Sparrow bakery for an Ocean roll. We walked to town, both Old town and Old Mill for dinner each night and even got a day of skiing in, with the house being only 25 minutes from Bachelor! I cant say enough about the location, and the home itself was really comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

And the best property management ever. (Ive done vacation rentals 2-3 times a year since 2001 and this manager was the best) Problem with smoke detector, fixed in one hour. Problem with WiFi, fixed in a few hours. (Only problems we had and we stayed for almost two weeks). The property was perfect for our family of six adults. Comfortable and easy to hang out together. Walked to town, to restaurants, to coffee. Hot tub great. Kitchen/cooking easy and room for a few cooks and a few watchers. Quiet neighborhood. We plan to return next year.

This was the perfect home base for our weekend in Bend. It was the perfect location, walkable and bikeable to everything. Property manager was easy to work with as well.

What an amazing experience! My husband and I rented Riverside Cottage for a full month! The location is absolutely perfect! Other than driving to the grocery store or out for our hikes - we barely used the car! We were able to walk everywhere from this location! The house was so roomy for us and our guests. We loved having the grill and used it a lot! Not to mention the hot tub - pure heaven for sore feet and legs after hiking and mountain biking! The house has everything you need! Tons of linens and towels and a very well stocked kitchen. We were MOST IMPRESSED by the service we received from Mackenzie and the rest at Bluebird Day! As with any rental property, we had two very small issues (the blender burned out and a shower curtain rod came down). Both issues were addressed immediately - even on on Sunday morning when we said it could wait until Monday, Mackenzie was at our front door within an hour. They even took care of taking the garbage and recycling to the curb and returning t

Cannot get over what a primo location it was. You could walk or bike (with bikes provided on the property) to anything we needed or wanted to do. The management company was very responsive and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The house was perfect for what we were looking for and would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, walking distance to good local eats and bars, had enough beds for our group to rest their heads after riding at Mt Bachelor. Hot tub was great with extra towels for all. My husbands birthday weekend will forever be memorable as we got to reunite and spend time together with friends. Will definitely book here again when we are back in town!

Nice spacious and clean craftsman home with plenty of towels and comfortable beds with nice linens. We felt immediately at home! It is clearly apparent that the home owners have a great amount of pride in their home and have a great rental company working for them. I would stay in the house again!! Plus it was within close proximity to dining, shopping and art galleries. Short easy drive to Mt Bachelor for skiing or hiking.

The house was just as stated/pictured! They made sure to check-in at the beginning of our stay to ensure we had what we needed. Along with that, they came and shoveled the driveway and walkway while we were there which went above and beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great space in a great location. Walkable to the river, downtown, etc. Kids will love the basement space with games, foosball, etc. Plenty of room for those with large families, or smaller families who like to spread out a bit.

For me, its always the little things I note. Having been a maid for three years, I noticed the nice shampoos & conditioners, the laminated instructions for everything, the abundance of toys to play with (bikes, floats, etc), a bookcase of endless games (and good booke!), and a well-stocked kitchen. I cant emphasize enough how ideal this location is. Youre paying for proximity to Drake Park where you can float, to the many adorable shops and restaurants in Downtown Bend, to over the bridge in River West. The house itself is small square footage, but the carpeted downstairs complete with another bathroom, two bedrooms, and a foosball table more than offer proper living quarters. The hottub is a nice touch of course, and DID I MENTION THE SHED OF TOYS?! Would 100% stay here again and again.

Great stay for our family getaway with 4 adults, 2 kids, and family pet. Perfect location! We had such a great week at this house. The location was great for walking to nearby restaurants, or into town through the beautiful Drake Park. We loved Bend and will definitely plan a return trip!

We rented this property for 3 nights and couldnt have been happier. The house is in a great location within walking distance of downtown, the river and a few breweries. The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Communication with management was easy and check in/out was a breeze and made this vacation, a vacation. We will most definitely be back.

I have stayed in many properties in Bend before and this place was a great deal, in a perfect location for activities and walking distance to restaurants and downtown. We had a great time and felt comfortable in the house. It is well stocked and very clean. We will definitely be back!

The house was perfect for our group of 6 with two couples and 2 kids. Its in a great location and Bluebird was a very responsive host.

This is a great house and close to downtown Bend. You can walk or ride bikes to everything. 6 of us, including teenage kids, had plenty of space. The basement is great with lots of games and activities. Kitchen is well equipped. Hot tub is nice. Shed is full of bikes (and bike pump and helmets).

Our group of 6 mountain bikers found Riverside Cottage to be just what we were looking for. The spacious and well appointed basement accommodated several gals like a dormitory with their own full bath. The upstairs bedrooms worked perfectly for our couples -- with their own bathroom too. We liked the big well supplied kitchen, plus walking to Starbucks (4 blocks), Food Trucks (less than 1/2 mile), Pizza (5 blocks), and a multitude of breweries all within walking or riding distance of the house. We had a great time! We walked to multiple breweries and restaurants. Very easy to get around. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us.

Great spot, awesome caretakers. Perfect for a night in Bend. Lovely location, house, kitchen, wifi, and yard. Close to everything. Coffee situation is on point- electric kettle, French press, etc. New washer dryer were useful after days on the road.

My family and I spent 5 days at the Riverside cottage and loved it! The house was beautiful and very clean. We loved the big kitchen for cooking with everything we needed. The location couldnt have been any better. It was a quick drive to Bachelor for skiing and just blocks to great breweries and restaurants. We rode the bikes around town and to a great drop in yoga class and "The Yoga Lab" followed by delicious cider at the "Atlas Cider Co." right next door. We are looking forward to returning for a summer visit.

We had a wonderful family trip to Bend, 6 adults and dog in the house and there was still plenty of room to spare. The house was beautifully kept, clean, cozy and had everything we needed! We took advantage of the fabulous location near the pubs, restaurants and town! The bikes and toys in the back shed were a great addition and there was enough for each person! Wonderful location, beautiful home and great experience! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I planned this trip to take our three daughters (21, 19 and 13) away during Christmas break. This was our first time in Bend and the house was perfect. The layout provided great get-together space but also private space for the kids to play games in the basement. The easy access to Drake Park was perfect for taking our dogs for a walk. There were many great places to walk for dinner or beverages. It was easy to get to the shuttle if the kids decided to head to Mt. Bachelor. I would certainly book again if we come with a group to Bend.
